Rogers Park Service Fair & Rogers Park Job Fair


Hosted by Bill Morton in partnership with community organizations to support residents and strengthen Rogers Park.

Mark your calendars! In 2019, community leader and Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce President Bill Morton will host the Rogers Park Service Fair & Rogers Park Job Fair—an exciting event focused on supporting the people of Rogers Park through direct access to employment and essential services.


📍 Location: Loyola Park Fieldhouse

This combined fair is designed to bring together:

  • Local employers offering job opportunities

  • Service providers offering housing, healthcare, legal aid, and more

  • Workforce development programs to help residents improve skills and find stable employment

  • Community partners and government agencies committed to building a stronger Rogers Park

Whether you're job hunting, looking for support services, or just want to learn more about what’s available in your neighborhood—this fair is for you.

Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center Coat Drive




Starting Tuesday, January 9th, 2018, Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center will be collecting Coats, Blankets, Socks, Gloves, and Hats to donate. Everyone should have one warm coat, but too many do not! Please help our neighbors keep warm this season by donating your lightly used coats. We will be collecting through the month of January during our normal business hours – All are welcome to donate – no appointment needed.

Let’s make this a great start to the New Year for our neighbors.

All proceeds will go to Care for Real, an organization that was established in 1970 in the Edgewater community, whose mission is to provide clothing, food, and counseling services for those in need.

Franchise Restaurants Expand in Rogers Park




“The money stays in our local economy and our job is to stimulate the local economy,” Morton said. “For every $100 you spend at locally owned businesses, $68 will stay in the community. What happens when you spend that same $100 at a national chain? Only $43 stays in the community.”

Loyola students are integral to this stimulation, according to Morton.

Protest for the Mexican Residents of Rogers Park

The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce represents the businesses, organizations, institutions and Residents of Rogers Park. We spend a lot of time in the kitchens of restaurants and meeting with small business owners and their employees after business hours at many locations.

By request of Rogers Park, Chicago, Illinois residents who came from, and have family in Mexico:

Join us to raise awareness in the United States, of the 9 killed during the teacher protest in Mexico. Everyone is invited to protest with us at the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago!

Chamber After Dark featuring Quinn Cunningham!

Funk Trunk Records spins 70's funk, 70's disco, a little world music and jazz funk at Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce HQ!

This is the first monthly Chamber After Dark series of events! This is a free event. Bring your own drinks, or a snack/dish to share if you like. The Chamber will be providing non-alcoholic beverages and a light snack.
