Healing Service for our Global Waters

In response to the ongoing destruction to the waters of the Gulf of Mexico and its surrounding environment, the Evangelical Catholic Diocese of the Northwest will conduct a “Healing Service for our Global Waters” on Sunday, June 20th, 2010, at 2:00 PM, on the pier at the Jarvis Park Beach in Chicago’s Rogers Park neighborhood.

Bishop James Alan Wilkowski will bless and anoint the waters of Lake Michigan and apply the common prayers reserved for the sick and dying to pray for the healing and restoration of our global waters and environment.
